The west shore of Tahoe is one of the best kept secrets if you're looking for the authentic feel of the lake. It's mainly all locals that live there and it has that down home feel that makes it feel like a true mountain town. During the summer months is does get busy there, but not like the rest of the lake. When the summer ends and the crowds go home this area of the lake is a must to visit or host your wedding at. There aren't too many wedding venues along the west shore, but be sure to check out the West Shore Cafe and Inn.
