Cave Rock Lake Tahoe Elopement

Cave Rock Lake Tahoe Elopement

Cave Rock Lake Tahoe elopement photos of a bride and groom holding hands and kissing, while standing a top of a huge rock overlooking the east shore at sunset. Most people come to Cave Rock to climb to the top of the massive lava rock to see the expansive views of the lake and surround shoreline. So it's seem natural to do the same when have your wedding or elopement photos taken here too. You will end up with some amazing photographs if you climb to the top, but most of the year you'll have to deal with the all the crowds that are sitting up there in a small area which isn't that fun. Don't get me wrong I highly suggest going to the top, but don't plan and spending all your time up there. There are so many other spots that surround this area that give you amazing views too, which make for some great pictures and usually no one is around. I think this makes all the difference when taking these types of photos. This photo is an example of one of those spots at the base of the rock that still shows off the lake in all of it's beauty.
